WINTER ROLLOUT TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The Winter Rollout begins after school on Friday at 3:30pm and in some years has matches scheduled until midnight. Matches begin as early as 7am on Saturday morning and are scheduled the entire day until possibly as late as midnight on Saturday. Entries must be submitted by coaches online and received by 10pm on the preceding Monday.
Match starting times will be available no later than 6pm on the Thursday before the tournament. The match times will be listed on www.mohsrball.com (this website) and notification will be emailed to all coaches.
WINTER ROLLOUT TEAM SCORING
Medals are awarded for First & Second in every division. The design is the same for all divisions. A straight draw with NO consolation division will be offered. Players are guaranteed 1 match. A match will consist of 2 games to 11 points. 1 Timeout will be allowed per player per game. Tiebreakers are also to 11 points.
First & Second Place Individual Medals are awarded in every division. First, Second, and Third Place Team Trophies are awarded to each team finishing in the Top 3 overall across all divisions. Points are obtained based on wins in the following rounds in all divisions. Hence, the player that wins the final collects 105 points for their team.
A school can only earn points from their top players in each division. For example, if a school has both an "A" team and a "B" team in the tournament, in Division 5 (which has 5 spots for JV2), points can only be earned for your top 5 finishers.
